This is Dr. Ali Shariat's forum. Everybody should be discussing Shariati's thoughts. But since I see some digresses, so let me post my question too.
I have come across some Iranian sites, heard some stories, and now I am witnessing it on this site too.
This is what I am referring to:
Iranians take pride in being Arya. They think Arabs imposed Islam on them, when in fact their original religion is Zoroasterism. Hence they should return to their original religion.
What is wrong with you guys? Why are you taking religion as a cultural thing? You can purge your language of foreign words, as language is a part of culture; but YOU CAN NOT TAKE RELIGION AS CULTURAL THING.
Either Zoroasterism is right or Islam is right. It has nothing to do with race or culture.
I am amazed to see Iranians giving respect to Zoroasterism only because it originated from Iran.
