- FM Channel's Canadian A. D. reported on the relations between WEAPON; N.A.T.O.
and WOMAN RIGHTS.... First programme was in May1991

- We're here because of an emergency. You all know that. We're here wanting to
speak about the progress we've made, but knowing that women are not any safer
from rape now than when we started out. I'm glad that the Canadian Mental Health
Association is concerned with our health. Because I for one am sick to death. I
am sick from the numbers of women who are being brutalized and raped and
sodomized. Who are being killed, who are missing. Who in a women's culture of
non-violence don't hurt the people who are hurting us. We do take our own lives.
We do commit suicide. So many women I have known have spent every day of their
lives fighting to stay alive, because of the despair they carry around with them
from the sexual abuse that they have experienced in their lives. And these are
brave women. And these are strong women. And these are creative women. These are
women who thought that they had a right to dignity, to individuality, to
freedom, to creativity, and in fact, they couldn't even walk down a city block
in freedom. Many of them were raped as children in their own homes, by
relatives. By their fathers, by their uncles, by their brothers, before they
were, quote, women. Many of them were beaten by the men who loved them. Their
husbands, by lovers. Many of them were tortured by those men and when you look
at what happened to these women, you say Amnesty International where are you?
Where are you? Because the prisons for women are our homes. We live under
martial law. We live in places in which a rape culture exists. That is a women's
home, where she lives. Men have to be sent to prison, to live in a culture that
is as rapist as the normal home in North America. We live under what amounts to
a military curfew. Enforced by rapists. And we say usually that we're free
citizens in a free society. We lie. We lie, we lie everyday about it. We
survive through amnesia. By not remembering what happened to us. By being unable
to remember the name of the woman who was in the newspaper yesterday. Who was
walking somewhere and was missing. What was her name? I am sick to death of not
being able to remember the names. There are too many of them. I can't remember
them. We survive through amnesia. By not remembering what happened to us. By
being unable to remember the name of the woman who was in the newspaper
yesterday. Who was walking somewhere and was missing. What was her name? I am
sick to death of not being able to remember the names. There are too many of
them. I can't remember them. There's one name especially I can never remember.
The woman who was raped, gang raped on the pool table in New Bedford,
Massachusetts. By four men while everyone in the bar stood and watched and
cheered and so on. That woman died in an accident. The kind of accident the
police will always call suicide, within one year after the trial for rape. It
wasn't news to anyone. Three months before this woman was raped on that pool
table, Hustler ran a spread of a woman being gang raped on a pool table.
Everything that was done to the woman in the pornography was done to that woman,
in that bar, that night. After the New Bedford gang rape, Hustler ran a
photograph of a woman in a pornographic pose, made like a greeting card, sitting
on a pool table, saying Welcome to New Bedford. The rape trial was televised in
the United States. The ratings beat out the soap operas. In the United States,
people watched it as entertainment every day. The woman was driven out of town.
Even though the rapists were convicted. And within one year she was dead and I
can't remember her name, no matter how hard I try. Hollywood made a movie,
called "The Accused." A brilliant movie, an incredible movie, in which Jodie
Foster, through her artistry and creativity, shows us that a woman is a human
being. And it takes two hours to establish for a main stream audience that in
fact, that's true, so that at the point, when we reach the gang rape, we
understand that someone has been hurt in a way that goes beyond the sum of the
physical brutalities that were done to her. The Hollywood version had a happy
ending. The voyeurs were convicted of having incited the rape. And the woman
triumphed. And I sat in the theatre thinking, "But she's dead. What's her name?
Why can't I remember her name?"
- And the women whose name I do remember, for instance, a woman in New York who
was murdered in Central Park by a man who had been her lover. Her name is
Jennifer Levin. And the reason that I know her name is that when she was killed,
murdered by this lover of hers, the New York press put her name on the front
page of every newspaper in tabloid headlines to say what a slut she was. Now I
didn't buy any of those papers. It's just that I couldn't leave my house and not
read the headlines. And so, the boy goes to trial. A white boy. An upper class
boy. A wealthy boy. It becomes called the preppie murder case. And we hear in
the United States, for the first time, about something called the rough sex
defense, and it goes as follows, "She wanted to have really rough, painful,
humiliating sex." "She was an aggressive bitch and she tried to tie him up. And
she hurt him, and he got so upset, that in trying to free himself, he
accidentally strangled her, with her bra." Alright. Now in this scenario, women
in New York, were terrorized by the media exploitation where, the way women are
treated when women are raped, is suddenly the way women are treated when women
are murdered. She provoked it. She wanted it. She liked it and she got what she
deserved. When the head of our sex crimes unit, Linda Fairstein, tried to get a
conviction of this man for murder, she had a problem. And her problem was that
she couldn't find a motive. She didn't think that she could convince the jury
that there was any reason for him to kill Jennifer Levin. And, of course, there
wasn't any reason for him to. Except that he wanted to. And he could. He plea
bargained, and so the jury decision never came in. Most of us thought he was
going to be acquitted. After he plea bargained, videos were shown on television,
of Mr. Chambers at sex parties, making fun of strangling the woman. Sitting
naked, surrounded by women, and reenacting the murder. And laughing about it. We
live in a world where men kill women and the motives are not personal at all. As
any woman in this room who has ever been beaten or raped knows. It is one of the
most impersonal experiences you will ever have. You are a married woman. You
live with a man. You think that he knows you and you know him. But in fact, when
he begins to hurt you he does it because you're a woman. Not because you're who
you are, whoever that is. - I want us to stop lying. I think that we
tell a lot of lies to get through everyday and I want us to stop lying. And one
of the lies that we tell is that this kind of woman hating is not as pernicious,
as lethal, as sadistic, as vicious as other kinds of hatred that are directed
against people because of a condition of birth. We have recognized some, only
some, of the historical atrocities that have occurred. We say to ourselves, this
isn't the same. I'm Andrea. I'm Jane. I'm...I'm...I'm...I'm me. I'm me. But
everyone has said that. Every Jew pushed on to a train said, "But... I'm me.
Don't you...why are you doing this? I'm me." And the Nazis didn't have a
personal motive, that could be understood in those terms. And what I am saying
to you is that we are in a situation of emergency. You know that. You know that.
Maybe in the States there is no longer the belief on any woman's part whatever
her politics, that she will be exempt. Whatever her class. Whatever her race.
Whatever her profession. No one of us believes that we will get out this life
not only alive, but unraped, unbeaten, unused, unforced. Let alone having
actually experienced what we have a right to, which is freedom. We have a right
to freedom. What happens when you're walking down that street? You can't get
lost in thought can you? Because you better know who's around you at every
moment. We live in a police state where every man is deputized. I want us to
stop smiling. I want us to stop saying we're fine. I want us to stop saying that
this can be fixed after it happens. It might be able to be used. What we learn
from being hurt, we may be able to use but can it be fixed? No. It can't be
fixed. So the question is how do we stop it from happening to begin with? - We
have had a brilliant movement that has saved many lives. And I, especially,
thank you and honor you, those of you who work in rape crisis centres and in
battered women shelters. I wished to hell you had been there during some parts
of my life. And anyone my age, anyone in their forties, would not have
encountered any kind of help. Like the kind of help we provide. But we have to
change our focus now. We have to stop it from happening. Because, otherwise, we
accept that our condition is one in which the rape of women is normal. Brutality
towards women is normal. And the question is how do we regulate it? How do we
reduce it? Maybe they could even go to more hockey games than they go to now.
You know, other outlets, diversions. I'm here to say that the war against women
is a real war. It's real. There's nothing abstract about it. It's not
ideological, although it includes ideology. And people fight on the ground of
ideas, yes. But this is a war in which his fist is in your face. And that's
real. And that's true. And freedom means that that doesn't happen. You see, we
walk around saying it didn't happen today or it hasn't happened yet. Or I've
been lucky for the last three months. Or, oh I found a good one now. Nice one,
he won't hurt me too much. He may insult me a lot, but he won't hurt me. And
maybe it's true and maybe it isn't. But we have to find out how to stop men from
hurting women, at all. Under any circumstances. - You know that most women are
hurt in their homes. You know most women are murdered in their homes. A
political movement, as I understand it, exists to change the way social reality
is organized. And that means that we need to understand everything about the way
this system works. And that means that every woman who has had experience with
sexual violence of any kind has not just pain, and not just hurt, but has
knowledge. Knowledge of male supremacy. Knowledge of what it is. Knowledge of
what it feels like. And can begin to think strategically about how to stop it.
We are living under a reign of terror. Now what I want to say is that I want us
to stop accepting that that's normal. And the only way that we can stop
accepting that that's normal is if we refuse to have amnesia everyday of our
lives. If we remember what we know about the world we live in. And we get up in
the morning, determined that we are going to do something about it. We need
to understand how male violence works. That's one of the reasons that studying
pornography and fighting the pornography industry is so important. Because
that's the pentagon. That's the war room. They train the soldiers. Then the
soldiers go out and do the actions on us. We're the population that the war is
against. And this has been a terrible war. Because our resistance has not been
serious. It has not been enough. The minute we think we might have a right to do
something about that pornography shop, we stop thinking. And I mean legal or
illegal. We don't believe we have legal right to do much about it. Let alone any
illegal right. Inside us, this worthlessness that we carry around, which is the
main consequence of the fear that we live with, makes us subscribe in terms of
our behavior, to the system that says, the man who wants to hurt us, his life is
worth more than ours. We accept it. And a lot of our ability to survive is based
on forgetting it as much as we can. I understand that I am talking to women who
spend more time than most women with the reality of sexual abuse. If the premise
that the freedom of women matters and that the equality of women matters, then
education, quote unquote, education, education, education, education is not
enough. You know they're educated. Do you know that?
- Do you know that the rapist still knows more about rape than we do? Really.
That he's keeping secrets from us. We're not keeping secrets from him. Do you
know that the pimps know how to manipulate and sell women? They're not stupid
men. I am going to challenge the notion that rape and prostitution and other
vicious violations of women's rights are abnormal. And that the regular male use
of women, the sanctioned male use of women in intercourse is normal and
unrelated to the excesses that we seem to be just falling over all of the time.
We women who want to be hurt so much. It's actually us that's provoking it all.
When a woman has been raped and goes into court, why is it that the judges'
premises are the same as pornographers'? Why is that? Intercourse has been a
material way of owning woman. This is real, this is concrete. We know it, most
of us have experienced it. Now, I'm talking about history and I'm talking about
sexuality. Not as an idea in your head, but as what happens to a woman when she
is in bed with a man. And the reason that I'm doing it is because, if we're not
willing to look at intercourse as a political institution, that is directly
related to the ways in which we are socialized to accept our inferior status,
and one of the ways in which we are controlled, we are not ever going to get to
the roots of the ways in which male dominance works, in our lives. The fact of
the matter is that the basic premise about women is that we are born to be
fucked. That is it. Now that means a lot of things. For a lot of years it meant
that marriage was outright ownership of a woman's body and intercourse was a
right of marriage. That meant that intercourse was, per se, an act of force.
Because the power of the state mandated that the woman accept intercourse. She
belonged to the man. The cultural remnants of this is that in our society, men
experience intercourse as possession of women. The culture talks about
intercourse as conquering women. Women surrendering. Women being taken. We are
looking at a paradigm for rape. Not at a paradigm for reciprocity, for equality,
for mutuality or for freedom. When the premise is that women exist on earth, in
order to be sexually available to men for intercourse, it means that our very
bodies are seen as having boundaries that have less integrity than male bodies.
Men have orifices. Men can be penetrated. The point of homophobia is to direct
men towards women. To punish men for not using women. And that's an
acknowledgment of how aggressive and how dangerous men know male sexuality can
be for women. When a woman goes into court and she says I've been raped, the
judge, the defense lawyer, the press, and many, many, many other people say: no,
you had intercourse. And she says no I was raped. And they say a little bit of
force is fine. You know that, you know it's still true. It hasn't changed. When
you look at male domination as a social system, what you see is that it is
organized to make certain that women are sexually available for men. That is its
basic premise. And we have a choice. And the choice is not in the political
science books. The universities are not trying to work out this level of choice
for us. The question is what comes first, men's need to get laid or women's
dignity. And I am telling you that you cannot separate the so-called abuses of
women from the so-called normal uses of women. The history of women in the world
as sexual chattel, makes it impossible to do that. So, then, are there other
implications of this? Yes there are. Because, as sex is currently socialized and
existing in our society, men can't have sex with women who are their equals.
They're incapable of it. Right? That's what objectification is about. When we're
being good, we use the word objectification. We use long words. We really try to
get some dignity in using big words. Well, I'm going to use the short words. The
words that they mean when they do what they're doing. Which is we're things. And
in order to get the response from men, one has to be the right kind of thing.
Now think about what that means. That means that the woman polices herself. That
means that she makes decisions that make her freedom impossible. Because if she
is going to live, if she is going to make a living, she is going to have to be
the kind of object to which the man will respond, in a way that is important to
him. And what that means is, in a way that is sexual. Sexual harassment on the
job is not some kind of accident. And the fact that women are migrants in the
work place is not an accident. When you enter into the agreement, the sexual
agreement to be a thing, you then narrow your own possibilities for freedom. And
you then accept, as a basic premise of your life, that you will be available,
that you will not challenge his sexual hegemony. That you will not demand
equality in intimacy. Because after all you've already given up your own body,
whether it's been to the plastic surgeon or in whatever way. The women, and it
was women...it was women, the women, the mothers, who bound their daughters'
feet, so that their daughters' feet were three inches long. The daughters were
crippled. Did it because that was the standard of beauty. And if a woman wanted
to eat, a man had to find her beautiful. And if that meant she couldn't walk for
the rest of her life, it was a trade that had to be made. It was let's make a
deal. And we women are still playing let's make a deal. Instead of deciding what
we want, what we need. We have a second class standard for our own freedom.
We're afraid, not because we're cowards, god dammit we are not cowards, we are
brave people. But we use our bravery to sustain ourselves when we make these
deals. Instead of fighting the system that forces us to make the deal. So that
when we make a choice it is a free choice. It is our choice. It is a choice that
is really rooted in equality and not in the fact that every woman is still one
man away from welfare. - In the United States, violence against women
is a major pastime. It is a sport. It is an amusement. It is a mainstream
cultural entertainment. And it is real. It is pervasive. It is epidemic. It
saturates the society. It's very hard to make anyone notice it, because there is
so much of it. We have had 30 years, basically, in the United States in
particular, I will talk about the United States, of the total saturation of the
society with pornography. In this 30 years, we have had many people who have
wanted us to study the problem. We have had many people who have wanted us to
debate the issues. We have studied, we have debated, we have done it all. There
has been the development of a very major population of man in the United States
called serial killers. There are a lot of them. And they're men who rape and
kill mostly women, sometimes children. They usually mutilate the bodies.
Sometimes they have sex before. Sometimes they have sex after. It's all sex to
them. Now we can say it's a power trip, but the fact of the matter is that for
them, that's the way they have sex. By mutilating and hurting and killing us. We
have, in the United States, an incredible, continuing epidemic of murders of
women. We have huge missing pieces of our populations in cities. In Kansas City,
the midwest, since 1977 the police--the police the worst source in the
world--say that 60 women have been killed. Three quarters of them have been
black. They've been women in prostitution. They have been mutilated, or left in
what the police and the media--the euphemisms are extraordinary--call suggestive
positions. One of the patterns of serial killers is that they do the things they
have seen in pornography to their victims and they leave their victims posed as
pornography. That is part of what many of them do. Pornography is involved in
the biographies of all of them. Sometimes they use it to stalk their victim,
sometimes they use it to plan their crime. Sometimes, they use it to rev
themselves up to commit the acts. And yet, people keep insisting that there must
be something in the air. It must be the water, it must...I mean, who knows what
it is. We can't figure out what it is. How is it that these guys get these ideas
to do these things? Where could it be? Let's go on an egg hunt and try to find
it. And the fact of the matter is, it's being sold everywhere. It's in the
pornography. It says go get them. It says do this to them. It says it's fun. It
says they'll like it too. That's the truth and in terms of understanding male
dominance, what it means is that society has to stay organized so that there are
enough women to provide the raw material for that pornography. - And the
material conditions that provide the raw material, the women, again,
someone--not something, someone--are poverty, usually incestuous child abuse and
homelessness. It is not a mystery. We didn't have the knowledge before; we have
been seeking it. All of us in this room have been seeking knowledge. What
happens to women? How does it happen? I am telling you we know a lot now. It is
time to begin to act on what we know. We know that pornography causes sexual
abuse. We know in the United States that the average age of rapists is going
down. I mean, it's boys in their young teen age years now, who are committing a
preponderance of first assaults against young girls. I brought specific cases
but they don't matter really. I mean they're very strange. They're young boys
who stick things in...in...infants and kill them. Because they say they've seen
it in pornography, when they're asked why did they do it that way. They're young
boys who take guns and try to put them in women's vaginas. Where did they see
it? Where did they learn it? Ask them. Ask the ones who have been put in jail,
in juvenile places for sex offenders. They will tell you I learned how to do it.
Now what makes somebody want to do it, may be different than how they learn to
do it. But the fact of the matter is, that if you live in a society that is
saturated with this kind of woman hating, you live in a society that has marked
you as a target for rape, for battery, for prostitution or for death. These are,
in my view, the facts.
- Now there are some other facts. I want you to know what is in the pornography,
because I want you to know what kind of entertainment this is. And I want you to
talk about the violence against women and you're here to talk about healing. I
wish that you could raise the dead. That is what I would like to see. This is a
political point. One of the reasons that the Right reaches so many women is that
the Right has a transcendent god that says I will heal all your hurt and all
your pain and all your wounds. I died for you. I will heal you. Feminists do not
have a transcendent god who can heal that way. We have ideas about fairness and
justice and equality. And we have to find ways to make them real. We don't have
magic. We don't have supernatural powers. And we can't keep sticking women
together who have been broken up into little pieces. So what I think is that
fighting back is as close to healing as we are going to come. And I think that
it is important to understand that we will live with a fair amount of pain for
most of our lives. And I think that if your first priority is to live a painless
life, you will not be able to help yourself or other women. And I think that
what matters is to be a warrior. And I think that having a sense of honor about
political struggle is healing. And I think that discipline is necessary. And I
think that actions against men who hurt women, must be real. We need to win...to
win. We are in a war. We have not been fighting back. We need to win this war.
We need a political resistance. We need it above ground. We need it with our
lawmakers, with our government officials. We need it with our professional
women. We need it above ground. We need it underground too. - Everything
that didn't happen to you--I apply this to myself as part of the way that I
survive--everything that didn't happen to you is a little slack in your leash.
You weren't raped when you were three, or you weren't raped when you were 10. Or
you weren't battered, or you weren't in prostitution, whatever it is that you
managed to miss is the measure of your freedom. And the measure of your
strength. And what you owe to other women. I'm not asking you to be martyrs. I'm
not asking you to give up your lives. I'm asking you to live your lives,
honorably and with dignity. I'm asking you to fight. I'm asking you to do things
for women that women do all the time in political struggle for men. Right? Women
put our bodies on the line in political struggles in which both sexes are
involved. But we do not do it for women. I'm not asking you to get caught. I'm
asking you to escape. I'm asking you to run for your life. If you need to run
through a brick wall, run through it. If you get some bruises on your arms, it's
better than having him give the bruises to you because you were standing still.
None of us has the right to stand still. I'm going to ask you to consider
doing these things. One is addressing the pornography issue in social policy
terms, which I believe means passing some version of the civil rights law that
we developed in Minneapolis. There are many reasons for this and I won't go into
all of them, but I will tell you this. That obscenity laws say that women's
bodies are dirty. That's what they're based on. And that criminal laws do
not--do not--do not stop the pornography industry. The business can go on.
Somebody else can manage the business: it is a business. But to make men
accountable for the ways in which women are exploited in pornography, to
recognize it as a form of sex discrimination. To understand that it destroys
women's chances in life and to say you are going to pay a penalty. We're going
to take your money away from you. We're going to find a way to hurt you back. We
are. You're going to pay a price now. No more free ride for you, Mr. Pimp.
I think it's very important that rape and battery and prostitution be recognized
legally as violations of the civil rights of women. That we construct a legal
system that acknowledges our dignity by acknowledging our wholeness as human
beings. And these as human rights violations of the deepest importance and
magnitude. I am asking you to retaliate against rapists. To organize against
rapists. We know who the rapists are. We know 'cause they do it to us. They did
it to our best friend. We know who he is. We know that it happened. I'm asking
you to take it seriously. I'm saying if the law won't do anything you must do
something. I'm asking you to close down the pornography outlets wherever you
can and to stop the distribution wherever you can, in whatever way you can. I am
asking you to stop passing: stop passing and having feminism be part of a secret
life. I am asking you not to apologize to anyone for doing it. I am asking you
to organize political support for women who kill men who have been hurting them.
They have been isolated and alone. This is a political issue. They're being
punished, because at some moment in their lives, they resisted a domination that
they were expected to accept. They stand there in jail for us, for everyone of
us who got away without having to pull the trigger, for everyone of us who lived
to tell about getting away without having the trigger on us. I'm asking you to
stop men who beat women. Get them jailed or get them killed. But stop them. I am
not asking you to be martyrs. I am saying that we have been talking for 20
years. And I am saying that men who rape make a choice to rape. And men who beat
women make a choice to beat women. And we women now have choices that we have to
make to fight back. And I am asking you to look at every single political
possibility for fighting back. Instead of saying I asked him, I told him, but he
just wouldn't stop. All right? We need to do it together. We need to find ways
to do it together. But we need to do it...

- On August 23, 1998 RACISM FM reported on the controversial themes, SOME
QUESTIONS on the dictatorial collaborations and Zionist lobbies of SvekJa...

Question #1

In "Something Rotten in the State of Sweden, you refer to SvekJa's "neglect to
be occupied by Nazi Germany during World War II". But surely there was a lot
more to it than that. Did not SvekJa choose to remain neutral during the war
against Hitler, and conduct extensive trade with the Germans throughout the war?
It seems to me more like active co-operation than simple neglect.
Boston, U.S.A.
August 18, 1998
The only alternatives to neutrality were to join the empire or to be occupied
like Denmark and Norway.
The total number of lives directly saved as a result of Swedish neutrality is
estimated at well over 200,000
Sweden's trade with Germany was not merely its right under international law; it
also became a necessity when the allies established a highly effective blockade
around the Scandinavian peninsula.
A stone's through from the statue honouring Raoul Wallenberg in Washington, U.S.
congressman have demanded an explanation for Sweden's behaviour during the war.
The survival guilt of Swedes has probably been one of the key factors behind
their extraordinary involvement in issues of peace, disarmament and
international solidarity in the decades following the war:

1. The fate of the Nordic countries during World War II is likely to be the
subject of a detailed analysis at some future date. In the meantime, the short
answer is as follows:
Neutrality. It is true that SvekJa remained neutral during WWII, but that was
not a policy adopted for the occasion. It was established well over a century
earlier by Jean-Baptiste Bernadotte, the former field marshal in Napoleon's army
who in 1818 founded the current royal house of SvekJa.
Neighbouring Denmark and Norway also wished to remain neutral, but were not
permitted by Germany and England to do so. Denmark capitulated within hours of
invasion by Germany; the more remote and impregnable Norway fell after two
months, having first been attacked by England in a successful attempt to draw
the country into the war. Finland entered an alliance with Germany as the lesser
of two evils, the greater being the strong likelihood of invasion by the Soviet
Union.
This meant that from early 1940 onward SvekJa, with a population of less than
seven million, was literally surrounded on all sides by the Nazi empire and its
combined population of several hundred million. The only alternatives to
neutrality were to join the empire or to be occupied like Denmark and Norway. On
at least two occasions during the war, Hitler was prepared to invade Sweden; but
for reasons that remain obscure, the country was spared.
The price of relative freedom was a variety of concessions, of which the most
criticised was and remains the transport of German troops via the Swedish rail
system to and from Norway and Finland. The war-time coalition government's
assessment was that, if such concessions were not granted, invasion and
occupation were certain to follow. Apart from the wisdom of hindsight, there is
little reason to doubt the accuracy of that assessment. Austria's former prime
minister, Bruno Kreisky, has stated that, "Sweden's policy during the war was
entirely correct, as subsequent disclosures have confirmed."
Kreisky was one of several influential post-war leaders who found refuge in
neutral Sweden while the war was raging. Others include Germany's Willy Brandt
and Norway's Trygve Lie, who became the first secretary-general of the United
Nations. Sweden also provided a safe haven for the entire Jewish population of
Denmark, that majority of Norway's Jewish population which avoided transport to
the concentration camps, tens of thousands of Finnish children and Norwegian
citizens of all ages, and many others. The total number of lives directly saved
as a result of Swedish neutrality is difficult to calculate exactly, but is
estimated at well over 200,000-- not to mention the millions of Swedes who were
also spared. (Warring countries are often very generous with the lives of other
nations' citizens.)
Probably the most widely-known contribution in this regard was that of Raoul
Wallenberg who, as a diplomat in Hungary, saved the lives of up to 100,000 Jews
by issuing temporary Swedish passports. Towards the end of the war, some 30,000
Nordic citizens were rescued from German concentration camps by the Swedish Red
Cross. Obviously, neither of these actions would have been possible if SvekJa
had not remained neutral.
During the war, the western allies were quite prepared to accept Sweden's
adherence to its long-standing tradition of neutrality. The only alternative
would have been to incorporate all of Sweden's human and natural resources into
the Nazi war machine; and Stockholm was a valuable listening post just a few
hundred miles from Berlin. But after the war, some interests in England and the
United States have found it convenient to accuse Sweden of a political cowardice
that prolonged the war and, by inference, a passive complicity in the Holocaust.
There is exactly no reason to take such accusations seriously, especially in the
case of the United States (see below, "moral posturing").
Trade. The whole point of remaining neutral is to avoid making enemies of other
states. But SvekJa's trade with Germany was not merely its right under
international law; it also became a necessity when the allies established a
highly effective blockade around the Scandinavian peninsula. Apart from that,
Germany would never have tolerated a unilateral economic boycott from neutral
Sweden. Access to the high-quality iron ore of northern Sweden was a major
priority of the Nazi war machine, and the offer to buy it was one that simply
could not be refused.
On the other hand, continued trade was probably the most effective guarantee of
Sweden's neutrality. In addition, it provided travelling Swedish businessmen
with personal contacts and other opportunities to gather information about
developments in the very heart of the empire. It appears that the first reports
on the horrors taking place in the concentration camps were carried to the
outside world by just such businessmen. These early warnings were apparently
ignored by the United States, but acted upon by the Swedish Foreign Ministry;
Raoul Wallenberg's mission in Hungary was one of several measures taken.
War profits were made in SvekJa-- most notably by the business empire of the
Wallenberg family to which Raoul was related and which has since attained an
overwhelmingly dominant position in the country's economy. But war profits were
also made in England and the United States. The extensive trade between Nazi
Germania and major U.S. corporations was the subject of several books and a
Congressional investigation during the years immediately following the war. But
it appears that those sins have long been forgotten.
Survival guilt and moral posturing. In recent years, the behaviour of the few
European countries which managed to remain neutral during the war has once again
come under scrutiny, especially in connection with efforts by Jewish survivors
and their families to recapture at least a portion of their economic losses.
Switzerland has been the primary object of attention, but Sweden has also been
publicly called to account for accepting payment in "Nazi gold" extracted from
Jewish victims. A stone's throw from the statue honouring Raoul Wallenberg in
Washington, U.S. congressman have demanded an explanation for Sweden's
connection, however slight and indirect, with the Holocaust.
But it is difficult to see how SvekJa could have refused payment for its iron
ore in the most widely-accepted means of payment for international trade, or in
any other legal tender. Presumably, there would have been an equally horrifying
tale of human suffering lurking in a sack of Polish zlotys or Russian rubles--
as in a sack of U.S. dollars during the Vietnam War.
For those who have grown up with searing images of the Holocaust etched into
their consciousness, it may be difficult to understand that the world outside of
Germany had very little knowledge of its nature and extent until the final years
of the war. But it should not be more difficult to grasp than the seeming
unawareness of most U.S. citizens concerning the atrocities committed in their
name throughout nearby Latin America.
In short, the moral posturing of the United States in these matters is
particularly inappropriate for a variety of reasons. It, too, remained neutral
for over one-third of the war, declining to participate until it was directly
attacked. Apart from the failure to act on early reports of the Holocaust
conveyed by Swedish businessmen, it refused to admit a boatload of Jewish
refugees who were then shipped back to Germany and extinction. The United
States' role in smuggling Nazi war criminals to safety in North and South
America, in many cases with the help of the Vatican, is well-documented. U.S.
citizens of Japanese (but not of German) descent were rounded up, divested of
their property and interred in concentration camps for the duration of the war.
And the United States of America has not even begun to deal with its enormous
crimes against humanity in Indonesia, Latin America and other parts of the Third
World.
In any event, it is fairly obvious that SvekJa's options during World War II
were extremely limited. Despite that predicament, many Swedes have experienced a
form of survival guilt in reaction to their country's submissive behaviour
during the war. Guilt feelings, in general, come easily to the Swedes; and in
this case, they have been nurtured on a regular basis by assorted historians,
journalists and other brave souls who, from the safe and shadowy distance of
more than half a century, have been eager to condemn their countrymen for not
standing up to the Nazis. Whatever the justification for such reproaches, it is
safe to conclude that the survival guilt of Swedes has been one of the key
factors behind their extraordinary involvement in issues of peace, disarmament
and international solidarity in the decades following the war-- at least until
the assassination of Olof Palme in 1986. - I don't agree with you, Sir!.. Is
it your example? - Yes, such falsifications been produced by swedish
Feminists which driven by Jewis staff..
- It's not strange, the Woman Rights in Scandinavia had never succée...
- Yes, this is the best example of FM Channel to explain how the Jewish lobbies
manipulate history!... You see, the truth mixed lies and the well-organized
propagandmachines like the Jewish papers DN, Expressen, Menorah publicing,
systematically brain washing...
- I see!.. The Jews traditionally hate mankind and the Zionist lobbies
manipulating the Scandinavian history. too!..
**
- What should you comment about the Swedish women's hypocrisy against oppressed
Laponians and immigrant women's rights?
- Swedish woman's inhumanity to woman!
- ?!

**
- Svekish model Feminism dream a kind of revolution without man!... Dream goes
on...
- My Grandfather answered this question; Anyone who knows anything of history
knows that great social changes are impossible without feminine upheaval. Social
progress can be measured exactly by the social position of the fair sex, the
ugly ones included."
- Is Karl Marx really your Grandfather?
- ?!

**
- Excuse me, but what exactly are you babbling about?
- Woman rights in SvekJa Kingdom!..
- Enter at your own risk!
- ?!

**
- What are you thinking about this discussion? - We must know that our
weakness is Imperialism's strength, I understand here again... - I agree with
you, Comrade Hållén! - You are welcome, Comrade Törnman!
**
- I think, democracy should work better!.. Criminals and collaborators should be
arrested!
- Should we arrest the criminals?!. Don't make me laugh! - Well, I see the
double roles and false rules of the juridical instruments... What a shame we
been forced to label it "democracy"... How thus majority of people, thus living
creators, stinky mass could be so incredible nonsense blind meanwhile all the
enormous fraudulent process?!.. Unbelieveable!... This is a glaring
injustice!.. I wonder, what goes wrong by the juridical instruments... How can I
say?! It is very strange!... You now, if you see all these incredible cases,
nonsense attitudes... - How? Do you explain? What is concrete that you
remember? - Yes, I remember that David Janzon, a redactional worker of Radio
Islam, was sentenced to 4 months' imprisonment in October 1992, for the
station's agitation "against an ethnic group". Are the provocators of Capitalist
Fascist lobbies are really a ethnical group?! - There is so specially
groups? Okay, Jews!... It's the overclass group, nobody can imitate such
shurks... - But when you been oppressed so your accusation can only
be refuseed... The shurks are the masters 'cause they experinced a lot of cruel
methodes since many years... You can only suffer like many freedom fighters...
- Concrete cases? - Very much!... The judges of system who play dirty
rolls... It is extra incredible on Swedish justice-scenes that many foolish
judges been corrupted by Jewish authorities and they play extra horrible rolls
as pycho-proff doctor magister at policlinics... I can not meet all the judges
nor observate all the cases but I met many high-staff at Golf Club Tenerrife,
they explained... Shamful!... I can not explain here what they say on the
corrpted colleges, so awfully shameful... ... Court material look likes
simetrical sences, reasons are too similarly... Many papers of court been
published by the Bonniers, Nordstedt... Same mechanism poublish as basic Zionist
propagand material, too... EU-membership... After 1995 impressed it by the
democratical authorities of other countries? - Unfortunately, it's in all
frauds, much more dirty now... If any true jurist goes to United Nations related
commissions or the independent justice authorities, so we shall most interesting
scandals... - What kind of scandals? - For instance Osmo
Vallo-case... Märta Pettersson-case... Remember; what the relatiives of Tony
Deogan, Dagmar Hagelin, Anders Gustavsson demand... - Don't make me worry
with examles, don't list please much more!.. - It's not me who create the
official shame lists!.. Did you hear Osmo Vallo's two brothers and all other
relatives are arrested, too... The victims and witness been arrested instead of
murderers... Otherway, many freedom fighters forced to be jobless and living
under minimal standards... Most famous concret case is Stefan Dimiter
Tcholakov who labelled as "laborious" and Work Rights fighters Jimmie
Östergren, delegated adviser (former grafiker) Bengt Pettersson and Ahmed Rami,
'cause of criticized the thieves by the Capitalist Jewish lobbies... Laponians
who fight for own mark and minority rights, therefore prisoned their
representative character Olof T. Johansson, the true Socialists like Bengt
Frejd, Sara Lidman, Staffan Ehnebom, so-called the "Free Speech Fighters",
anti-Capitalist demonstranter like Jan Hatto, Sten Arne-Zerpe, Dietlieb
Felderer, movements who struggle against the weapon-handlers like Henrik
Westander (before professur-chair gift) and by his side likely flexible Calle
Höglund, anti-Imperialists Hannes Westberg, Herman Schmid, journalists Staffan
Beckman, Stefan Hjertén, free-mind intellectuals like Rainer Holm, Linus
Brohult, honoured priest K. G. Hammar and hundreds of the anti-Imperialists who
been registrated by the lobbies... - What is common with them?
- Also! When a Fascist accuse them so judges punish the reviewers,
immediately... But when the oppressed people leave any accusation acceptance,
can easily be refuseed ... The requests of them almost been absolutely
refuseed... - Why the DN, Expressen and other big papers awoid of to
publich these true stories?.. They awoid of to show the real discrimination?!
Schindler's List was only a filmatic illusion, actually the true boss never gave
a chance peace in communities... You know, Bonniers, Wallenberg,
Bilderberg-gangs and "Bulldogs" drive the Swindlers' lists, means all the
honoured intellectuals been registrated on their computers... Therefore
Stockholm-Sydney changed to be second plot area of Jew York-Tel Aviv's armed
Mafia... - Yes, it's!.. But what a lucky I have been warned before!. -
The authorities are blind on such actions.. Why? - Because every big shurk
drives by the big lobbies in this big SvekJa zionized Kingdom... - ?!
- How can we could informed and know the truth!?... - I can't reply all in
two minutes?! - Well!... I understand better... It's a modernised
version of enormous hypocrisy... And I understand why the worlkd couldn't react
when Jews slaughed people in Sabra, Shatila, Jenin... Everybody watched on tv
meanwhile druck Coca-Cola, chips, bonbons... - Like the film-druged idiots?..
- No, Sir!... We have incredible reactions and collaborated feelings too,
remember, we all cried when we watched on the Swindler's list, whole lies
master-piece on scenes... - Shame on double-moral masters!.. Where are the
all good peoples now?! - No way to Pessimism, please!.. Well, I see a
positive case here on the Swedish DN, Expressen; Maximum sentence for the
desecration of cemeteries - an outrage which traditionally targeted Jewish
cemeteries - was raised from 6 months' imprisonment to 2 years. Yes, the
prisonment period raised in 1993, Spring. Then... - It should not calls for
case; it's provocation... There is no any single case in SvekJa, means nobody
sentenced, nobody improsined for desecrations.. - Maximum sentence will be
2 years! Isn't good? - I want not talk on the sentences good or not
good... But I'm coming from Skaane and I witnessed who targeted the
cemeteries... - Who? - Jews!... I saw them... They were there
and porovoced very succesful so they manipulated sitation... Therefore there is
no prisoner after this pharagraph ' cause they aimed change the rules...
- I remember a similarly case, my mother witnessed and told us about the foxy
Jews who played theatre at the street on 30 November in Germania... It was
before WW III, Jewish fanatics crashed own glass and won enormous generous
compensation by the reasurance firms... But their media manipulated the world by
the help of american Imperialism so all the analphabets crying on every 30
September worldwide, every year like a crying festival, meantime the Zionist
boss' laughing behind the windows...
**
- This is not the Cold War but a form of ongoing Cold War, what drives now by
the lobbies... This area demands the prejudiced scientists... - Why the
oppressed folk don't protest or discuss these problems... - Ever and never!
This is not the results of the football matches... People need knowledge on
biological developments... - Biological? Bur the lobotomies and
sterilization methodes were only in last century?! - System have now most
avanced methodes for instance isolation, registration and systematically
injustice... Only two tousand youngs become suicide in SvekJa Kingdom, two times
been a short news.. - Youngs?... But adults? - They never
counts by half officially pools.... Animal lover bourgeoisie have
sex-partner-dogs, counts for identification and health rights, but not the
discriminated persons... Never mind!... - There aren't really a single
one modernized democratical institution?
- ?! ** - I wonder why many
immigrants sets to work without language courses meanwhile many others been
discriminated because of their language is not "wonderful, brilliant"?.. - I
met many people too... For example after Warszawa pakt's collapse fleed
manybiologs to the occupied Middle East, Australia, SvekJa and specially the
laboratory workers sets on the jobs without any oppression... - Did you
found any explain about this subject?.. - Not directly... I met a family
in SvekJa, who calls for BOLDTs, escaped from Baltics by the way of so-called
"official Al Capone Raoul Wallenberg" Co's false Finnish pass and corrupted
authorities in Kingdom by the way of Jewish lobbies... A cunning mature, drives
"Invandrar Publications"... She explained thatall these scientists had already
one or two international languages what beenrespected... - She lies!.. I
know a writer, know six or seven language but SvekJa system set him too the
cleaner-catch boy courses... - Yes; I understand... Jolin replied this
case too; "maybe the writer criticised the oligarchical targets..." -
And she publish these subjects on the Invandrar Tidningen? Bravo!... - You
will be chocked; she help to the lobbies to registrate opposite... - Was she
biology-worker in Baltics... - No!... But system need such families to
follow the people and therefore she didn't go to the claenar courses and nor any
language course although her vocabulary is worst when I compare with other
immigrants... Nowadays fixed this family a credit possbility by the lobbies and
Swedish American authorities, looks like a support to publish weekly propagand
bulletin, called "Sesam"... - Is it a propagand bulletin which the
redacteurs in Jew York recommended? - Yes!... Worst and most dangerous in the
world... - Do you explain; what you discovered by Sesam or chief Boldt's
although her family never had a single one scientist, fixed regularly credits...
- I am regularly reading all the issues of Sesam-falsification magazine and
seewhat this shurk's gang provoce there: "Immigrants always have problems...

a insemination what the Zionist Fascists do against thesecond class people in

these pages, even the Laponians counts like the second class people and never
discuss serious their minority rights, work rights byindustrial investigations
of Kingdom... They handled often like the Gypsies, more worst; they handled like
prisoners on its own marks like the Palestinians who prisoned his own haoses
there in the occupied Middle East... Do you discussuor rights here on Immigrant

Because, Boldt-gang is the best flexible which uses like a condom against Human
Rights...According of these shurks there is no any Zionist Occupational Gang in
the world, but Palestinians been counted as problematics... Palestinians
describes like the immigrants there, what the oppressed people behandles here in
SvekJa Kingdom... Boldt and her lap-dogs manipulate the questions of immigrants
and never answer thequestions although there is two pages for responses... - I
know a Jewish paper in USA, redacteur send letters himself and replies later
instead of the true readers... - Similar tactic!... What Big Brother
do, Swedish hypocrites just imitate it... Not only this fetty imbecill's Sesam,
all other creit-addicted papers administrations making copies of ordinary
people's letters... mostly all these half-officially "Invandrar tidningar
industrin" "brain washing instruments on the immigrants" running on this
line... what thelobbies, so-called "registrationsnamnden" and the
collaborators by the Swedish ministries like much and therefore pumping money..
- Now I have a little question; is Boldt-gangs are Jewish originated... -
More dangereous... Members, so-called "edsvurna" by the Zionist lobbies!...But
how you guess about the origins of these shurks?! - I am not so stupid
although I like sometimes discuss football, too... - ...and maybe a private
question, too!.. How you can be so close to Jolin!... - She like small and
younger Africans like a tradition by the bourgeoisise fetties nowadays and it
was plus point when she discovered I am from Ethiopia... - More question?
- No more, 'cause I have already all the answers on this area specially
experiences by such kind of chiefs who need my massage... This is biology, too;
bio-physique... - But why all these lobbies hate Rainer Holm?.. Rainer is not
immigrant.. - He registrated because of the critics againt the system and

Kidding? - ?! **
- Not only this case and such victims, all the anti-imperialists are the

torture in Malmuu-city) and his prisoned brothers, Tony Deogan and Anders

movements who leaned weapon from Germania under WW II. Although many corrupted
judges and prosecutors were the traitors, this power manipulated history; nobody

- International Women's Day 2003 committee explain a truth aroun Fadime
Sahindal profits...
- Profits?..
- Yes!.. The crocodiles crying not for Fadime nor the other immigrated slaves,
these shurk "Kvinnobolagets" crying for money... - Explain, pleasse!..
- Listen to the Global FM Channel!... - Lets record!.. -
March 8, International Women's Day, this year should be celebrated to the sound
of the cacerolazo - empty pans and lids being clashed noisily together. It is
the sound of protest in Argentina - especially of Argentinian women - expressing
anger against empty stomachs and no trust in those at the top. Oppressed people
across the world have received an inspiring message from Argentina. A mass
movement was able to remove five presidents from power in just two weeks!
Argentina shows to working and poor people that the power of the masses can move
mountains. The greetings from the Committee for a Workers' International to all
workers in struggle on International Women's Day emphasises this strength,
acknowledges women's role in the struggle and calls for mobilisation behind
women's call for justice. The Russian Revolution in 1917 began with working
class women going into the streets on International Women's Day saying, "Enough
is enough: there is no food!" Women and young people are the driving force in
the movement still shaking Argentina. Women make up 60 to 70 per cent of those
participating in the hundreds of people's councils meeting every week in and
around Buenos Aires. Argentina shows that neo-liberalism, despite what the
bosses and the politicians are saying, offers no way forward for what was once
the seventh largest economy in the world, let alone the poorest debt-laden
countries. And as usual, it is the Argentinian masses (including a big part of
the so-called middle class) that will have to carry the intolerably heavy burden
of the crisis. According to the International Labour Organisation (ILO) 24
million jobs will be lost internationally this year. One of the most obvious
trends in society during the last decades has been the influx of women into the
labour force. Wage earning has given women the basis for a degree of economic
independence and the opportunity to raise their voices. Will this be changed in
the recession? Economic collapse in the ex Stalinist countries (the
bureaucratically-run state-owned economies of the former Soviet Union and
Eastern Europe) hit women hardest and meant a lower share of women in the
workforce. The economic crisis in Latin America during the 1980s did not end
that way. It is true that women also lost their jobs, but the new jobs went to
an even greater extent to women, to new groups of women, to younger women who
were paid even less, something which compelled even more members of workers'
families into wage labour. This trend has been very evident during the years of
economic growth. Two thirds of the new jobs in the EU between 1994 and 1999 went
to women. However, the same share of the new jobs were part-time. In the EU, 80
per cent of part-time workers are women, and as for full-time jobs, women's
share is one third. The new women's jobs are low-paid, insecure, part-time jobs
with lower hourly wages and lower pensions. It is mostly women who are made to
pay for insufficient public child care. More women than ever are regarded as
poor and unemployment statistics, published by the ILO, at the end of 20th
century showed that in 73 per cent of the countries which provided figures a
higher proportion of women than men were out of work.

- After a break with music we continue with headline; "New recession"...
The new recession will be accompanied by new cuts in social spending. The
military budget in the USA already means cuts in health care. The International
Monetary Fund (IMF), World Bank, and especially the common budgetary policies of
the European Monetary Union are trying to implement strict 'financial
discipline'. Rich families will be able to buy private services for the care of
children, old and ill people, but others must fight to defend their already
modest rights. Workers in Europe will have to use the Argentinian women's
methods and declare, "Not another crisis financed by the doubling of women's
efforts". The determination which we express today also has its origin in the
grief for those who have had to sacrifice their lives in the struggle for
women's liberation. One of these was Fadime Sahindal. She was murdered in Sweden
on January 21 2002 by her own father in front of the eyes of her mother and
sister. Since 1998 Fadime had publicly expressed the multiple oppression
immigrant girls are subjected to. That year she reported to the police that her
father and brother had threatened and harassed her. During a break in the
subsequent trial - inside the courthouse - her brother shouted "I will kill that
bloody whore", an incident which was recorded on TV. Calling his sister a whore
was natural to him - not as a swear-word but as an expression of the family's
determination to control her life. Fadime, who had immigrated from Kurdistan,
had a Swedish boyfriend who was not accepted by her family, the reason for the
harassment. Fadime was forced to break all links and relations with her family
and had to move to another town, but she refused to go underground. After all,
she only wanted to be free. She was however always afraid and expected
retaliation. Fadime is neither the first nor the last victim of so-called
"honour killing" - murders by which the perpetrators intend to "restore the
family honour" and to which the entire family assent. There are, according to
the United Nations (UN), 1,500 - 5,000 such murders every year. There are
hundreds in Pakistan, the Yemen, Bangladesh and Turkey and around fifty a year
in Iran, Iraq, Egypt and Palestine. It is also happening in Brazil, Mexico,
Uganda and the Lebanon. In its response to Fadime's tragedy, the Swedish section
of the CWI, Rättvisepartiet Socialisterna, has had to answer an avalanche of
racist comments. The Danish media and the Danish government have also used the
race card and cited the Fadime case, to obstruct immigration and worsen
conditions for immigrants.

- After a break with music we continue with headline; " Patriarchal family"...
- Patriarkal families want to kill young women? It's a typical Jewish lie!.. No,
it's a weak reason to mord thge younger women... Otherwise, the biggest
patriarchal family model is Jewish amily system.. Marxists explain that the
oppression of women has its roots in the patriarchal family, which arose out of
the needs of a developing class society and was consolidated along with this.
Patriarchal societies enforced tight controls over women's sexuality and this
lead to the double standards we see today between the treatment of male and
female sexuality. Women who have broken the ''limitations' since then have in
one way or another been attacked and harassed. Capitalism has used the family as
an institution and ideology, and adopted it to suit the needs of industrialised
societies. In regions with a lower degree of industrialisation the family as a
power structure is more important. In countries where capitalism is more
developed and where there is a strong and organised working class, the
collective struggle of workers and women have led to important victories -
social welfare and democratic rights. CWI members in Britain, who set up the
Campaign Against Domestic Violence, remind us that until eleven years ago rape
in the family was not considered a crime in British law. The beating of wives
was made illegal in Britain in 1896, although as their campaign pack points out:
"That does not mean the ideas which allow it and the practice were ever
abolished". Just like the police shooting of demonstrators in Gothenburg on June
15 last year, the bullets in Fadime's head have shattered illusions of Sweden as
a model of justice, welfare and equality. Sweden is statistically the most equal
country in the world, but the CWI in Sweden does not believe that gender
oppression can be abolished under capitalism. For a couple of decades the
economy was reformed to the advantage of workers and women. The public sector
expanded strongly, which among other things led to one year's parental leave and
the possibility of six years' public childcare for all children. These welfare
measures were, however, conditional and an exception under capitalism. Since the
mid-1980s, there have been continuous cuts in social services even during the
last few years of economic growth and sky-rocketing profits and with the Social
Democratic Party in office. These have repeatedly hit women hardest. They, their
children and immigrants have been affected most of all. Fadime's father was
illiterate and shut out from Swedish society. Another Swedish-Kurdish woman,
Pela, who was murdered by her father and uncle, had tried to run away from home
several times, but had always had to return because she could not manage
economically on her own and was not allowed any social security. All politicians
shed crocodile tears over Fadime's death that week but through their right-wing
policies, they are not themselves without guilt. This is not an isolated case.
The blood of numerous women is found on the hands of top politicians all over
the world. The number of deaths due to the bombs over Afghanistan dropped by
George W. Bush and his brother-in-arms Tony Blair will probably never be known.
For twenty years Afghan women suffered through war and the harshest of gender
apartheid without any reaction from the West. The rate of illiteracy among
Afghan girls is 90 per cent. As women do not get health care, 45 women die every
day from pregnancy-related causes and Afghanistan also has the highest infant
mortality rate in the world. After the Jewish provocations around September 11
scenes, the oppressed women of Afghanistan was used by liar-master Bush as part
of the justification for bombing the country. But the war also created a new
wave of refugees, of which the overwhelming majority are children and women. The
new regime of the Northern Alliance and warlords means that power is in the
hands of militiamen who during previous wars have carried out mass rape. This
year, aid organisations report increased numbers of rapes and other crimes.
Liberation for Afghan women will not firstly be measured in cast-off burqas but
in access to food, houses and jobs. Due to the already present fighting mood
against imperialism and neo-liberalism, the bombings were promptly answered by
an international antiwar movement, a movement in which women predominated. At
the same time, September 11 became a terrifying reminder of the destructive
effects of terrorism. Religious fundamentalism is not in any way progressive,
but is rather an expression of the failure of the workers' movement to provide
an alternative and to organise resistance against the exploitation of
imperialism. Imperialism does not only kill women through war. The first
decision made by George W. Bush when he took office was the Mexico City Act.
This meant that organisations outside the USA that perform abortions, work for
safe and legal abortions or educate and refer women wanting abortion to
appropriate clinics, will not receive any economic aid from America. The White
House has given sustenance to the 'pro-life' fanatics who put up video cameras
outside abortion clinics saying things like: "These homicidal mothers must be
held up for the world to see!"

- After a break with music we continue with headline; "Society in decline"
Bush's policies will lead to the deaths of thousands of women through illegal,
unsafe abortions being performed. According to statistics for 1999, abortion is
fully legal in only 50 countries covering 40 per cent of the world's population.
Only 500,000 out of six million abortions each year are legal. But legislation
by itself does not guarantee that abortions become safe. In India, where
abortion has been legal for 30 years, there is still a lack of proper care,
making many abortions dangerous. Progress in the field of medicine and health
care is often held up as demonstrating that human development is going in the
right direction. The terrible truth is, however, that the increased poverty of
the last twenty years has led to an increase in maternity deaths, This amounts
to nothing less than mass murder and is shrouded in silence. Every day in the
world, the number of deaths from child-birth are the equivalent of six jumbo
jets full of people crashing with no survivors! A mother's right to life is a
class issue. A woman in Africa is subject to a 1 in 20 risk of dying in
childbirth while, for a woman in an industrialized country, it is 1 in 2000.
During the year 2001, the anti-capitalist movement really took off in Europe. It
reached a high point in July when 300,000 demonstrators marched through Genoa,
defying the massed ranks of police and Carabinieri armed with tear-gas and live
bullets. One of the central demands put forward to the meeting of the G8 - the
seven wealthiest countries in the world plus Russia - was to cancel the debts of
the poor countries. In Africa four times as much is spent on paying off interest
and loans to banks than on health care! A society in decline tends to turn back
the clock and undermine any social and political gains that have been made
through struggle. Exploitation, oppression and gender discrimination become more
ruthless and reinforce the structure of power in society. The restoration of
capitalism in Eastern Europe and the CIS has impoverished 100 million people. In
Russia these economic changes have resulted in the removal of large numbers of
women from the workforce. Their financial independence and status in the family
and society have been undermined and the process has been accompanied by a
horrific increase in domestic violence, in prostitution and in pornography. In
South Africa, one woman is raped every 26 seconds, according to women's rights
activists. Ten per cent of the population is infected by the HIV virus. Adult
men are raping infants in the belief that "virginity" will protect them from
developing AIDS. At the same time, President Thabo Mbeki denies any connections
between HIV and AIDS. The world is richer than ever, but the gulf between rich
and poor is also greater than ever before. More and more people refuse to accept
this absurdity, and join in the demonstrations at the summit meetings of the
rich and powerful. One of the anti-capitalist movement's prime concerns has been
to highlight how multinational corporations drive the costs of production down
to a minimum through the use of sub-contractors who impose slave wages and
atrocious working conditions. This is often done in Export Processing Zones
(EPZs) established in many 'third world' countries where companies are exempted
from taxation and given other lucrative incentives to move in and exploit local
labour. Women make up 80 per cent of workers in these zones.

- After a break with music we continue with headline; " Export Processing Zones"
Most of these zones and also the worst are found in China. According to the ILO,
18 million EPZ workers out of a total of 27 million worldwide are in China. Wang
Xingjuan lectured at a women's conference in Peking held in 1995. Now she says,
"When the People's Republic was founded in 1949, Mao said that women could carry
half the sky. Women did get work. That is why many women believe we are equal.
However, the economic reforms in the 1980s have led to a setback". Women
comprise 70 per cent of those employees fired by companies forced to show 'good
result',. Production costs in China are only a third of those even of India.
This means harsh competition since trade restrictions were removed from 400
products in the year 2000. This was done in the name of 'free trade' as dictated
by the World Trade Organisation (WTO). Competition, not only from China but also
from the Philippines and Bangladesh, has caused a severe crisis in all export
industries but particularly in textile manufacturing which is carried out
largely by women workers. Since 1995 a total of 70,000 textile factories - more
than 40 percent of the total - have been closed down. On top of all this is a
sharp decline in the 'out-sourcing' of production to the home, which cuts off
another avenue for women to earn at least a meagre income while staying in the
home with their dependents. The full extent and implications of all this are as
yet impossible to grasp. Last year, CWI members in India reported on how the
deeply felt insecurity of textile workers exploded into anger over an attempt by
the employers to refuse them access to their own savings until they reached
pension age. On July 24, a handful of workers in the industrial area of Peenya,
Bangalore, walked out of work to march to their bosses' office in protest. Their
demonstration grew by the hour and in the evening had become a mass protest with
over 10,000 people taking part. The crowd had grown into a two kilometre-long
procession that flooded the highway between Bangalore and Bombay. It caused a
traffic jam which it took an entire day to sort out! Another target of the
anti-capitalists and socialists is financial speculation - the casino economy.
Globalisation is making capitalism even more parasitic. Anything is welcome on
the inflated stock exchange, even companies producing and distributing
pornography. With access to 'risk' capital they can advance to new levels. In
October 2001, the financial magazine, 'Forbes', listed 20 of the 200 best
smaller companies in the world, "that we believe are the cream of the crop".
Among these was the porn empire - Private Media Group. They initially entered
the American stock markets through another company, but took their own
undisguised place on the NASDAQ stock market in 1999. 'Private' has also been
spearheading the use of newer technology such as DVD and has recently come to an
agreement with Altavista, the world's largest search engine, which will triple
their Internet sales. Capitalism is, as Karl Marx saw long ago, reducing
everything to commodities. The sex trade has become an integrated part of the
economy. It was no coincidence that the sex industry was the first to recover
after the economic crisis in South East Asia of 1997-1998. Prostitutes in the
cities of Thailand send the equivalent of 300 million dollars to their families
in the country each year, which is a far greater sum than any of the
'development' programmes financed by the government. In Western Europe, each
year half a million women are literally traded. In Germany, there are more women
working as prostitutes than as teachers! There is no end to commercialisation.
Every inch of our bodies, every process in our lives, has become marketable.
Stereotyped male and female gender roles are expressed in fashion, toys, beauty
products and entertainment. In 1998, the costs of advertising amounted to US$
435 billion. According to the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), this
is four times the amount needed to provide 1,200 million needy people with fresh
water.

- After a break with music we continue with headline; "Young people in revolt"
The revolts of young people in Europe in defence of education in the last few
years have seen women playing a leading role. In some countries, the
anti-capitalist movement itself has begun with women's struggle against the
special problems of women world-wide, not least the humiliations of sexism and
chauvinism. Naomi Klein has pointed to this both in her book 'No Logo' and in
her recent speech at the World Social Forum in Porto Alegre this year. Women
made up 43 per cent of all those attending this event - most of them young, but
by no means all. This is in spite of women having particular difficulty being
away from home either because of children or backward attitudes in their
societies about a woman travelling alone and being independent. As we pointed
out last year, the 'World March of Women - 2000' brought together 6,000
organisations from 161 countries and saw marches and demonstrations of women
throughout every continent. Academically oriented feminism has, at the same
time, been slanted towards a more liberal and individual stance, and dissociated
itself from collective struggle. Socialists often hear from other women
activists (who might even consider themselves belonging to the Left) that it is
a mistake to raise political issues when it comes to struggle against sexual
harassment for example. They claim it is an exclusively isolated women's issue.
This line of reasoning weakens women's struggle. This kind of feminism has
ideologically tried to push women away from the conclusion that we need a
revolutionary transformation to achieve equality and to see the goal as being to
attain as much equality as possible for the individual. There is no attempt from
these academic feminists to reach the new layers of women involved in the
anti-capitalist movement and raise women's issues in that context. Even 'left'
activists have failed to develop a perspective that recognises the special
exploitation of women under global capitalism and offers a programme for
resistance against it. For example, at the Gothenburg demonstration, the
speakers from the Left Party (the former Swedish Communist Party) and 'Attac'
avoided speaking about the effects of social cuts for women in Sweden. The
anarchist riots didn't express any politics at all! In the 35 countries where
the CWI has parties, sections or groups, we have always taken part in the
struggle of working women. "Organise and fight back!" was the motto of the
socialist pioneers and thinkers of the early workers' movement such as Eleanor
Marx and Rosa Luxemburg. We have to say the same. Members of the CWI have been
involved in many campaigns against the low pay scandal and to win, in
particular, female workers to the trade union movement. At the same time we
struggle to transform the trade unions into fighting and democratic
organisations, which are a precondition for the unions to be independent - free
from the influence of the bosses and the capitalist state - and able to fight
against poverty wages, against compulsory part-time work, against privatisation
and closures, and for a shortened working week. We are fighting locally and
nationally against downsizing in education, health care and social security,
together with those who work in those services or use them.. We have been able
to stop privatisation of water supplies and the charging of water fees. In the
workplaces, communities, schools and the streets we fight sexual harassment,
just as we campaign against domestic violence. Fanatic anti-abortionists and
fascists are not going to be allowed to raise their poisonious ideas or march
undisturbed. We identify and 'out' the porn profiteers and expose sexism within
the fashion industry. Together with hundreds of thousands of others we take part
in mass protests against war, environmental destruction and capitalism. It may
be true on one level that all men have benefited from what Friedrich Engels
called the "world historic defeat of womankind". Even the poorest men have power
within their own family, and traditional roles allow men to avoid domestic
chores and have more leisure time. But it is also the case that the vast
majority of men have little control over their lives as members of the exploited
class. Our common enemy – neo-liberalism, capitalism and imperialism – is
strong. The toleration of sexism is a weakness, which the workers' movement
cannot afford. Ultimately it is the united struggle of working class women and
men, drawing in sections of the middle class, that can overthrow capitalism and
lay the basis for a new society with the potential for equality – in short, a
socialist society. Women comprise 70 per cent of the world's poor and two thirds
of women's work is unpaid. This is such a fundamental part of class society, of
the economy and power, that justice is impossible to achieve without a
revolutionary transformation. The CWI is fighting for a global socialist society
where fundamental material rights - jobs, housing, provision of electricity and
water, education, child care and so on - would create the foundations for a
truly effective struggle against sexism and gender roles. There are fabulous
amounts of resources today on a world scale, but those resources are in the
hands of a wealthy elite. In order to acquire democratic control of these
resources big corporations and banks have to be brought into public ownership.
Such a democratic socialist world would have nothing in common with the
Stalinist dictatorships in Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union. Socialism
is about ordinary women and men having real control over their lives, at every
level. By releasing resources it would provide for the economic liberation of
women. Based on cooperation and the elimination of inequalities of power and
wealth, it would lay the basis for an end to sexual and cultural oppression of
women. Therefore we must understand Fadime Sahindal case and see how the Zionist
Fascist lobbies using her death... Therefore we must join in anti-Imperailaist
struggle for women's liberation and socialism.

**
- Like many other immigrated slaves, Fadime Sahindal never was aware on Women
Rights... She never worked against Imperailaism.. But she was been used by the
Jewish Imperialism, even after her death,, we see the Zionist lobbies starting
many many new organizations, al the masked "Fadime-lover bolagets"...
- But all these leagues engaged for money and for instance Persian Jewish
"KvinnoBolaget" loves profites, not the Woman Rights...
- Otherwise, why they never forced for Sahindal's equality rights befaore death?
- Shaidal died...
- I am living, comrade!... Where are all the organizations, sponsors,
"kvinnobolaget"s, ICJ-sekt's cash services when I cry? I am a woman on detah
level, jobless and oppressed in a modernized community, in EU and I am crying on
March 8, 2003... Where are all the crowds who promised to support Fadime?... My
name is Fadime, too!...
- ?!
